Who is this school for?
Our school is open to everyone! There are no special requirements, just your desire to run in nature. Groups are small and adaptable, which allows a coach to be concentrated on each participant.
- For beginners: You will learn everything from scratch. How to run with proper technique, how to choose the right equipment, how to navigate uneven terrain and how to prepare for your first trail race.
- For advanced: You will perfect your running technique, improve your speed on climbs and descents and learn to use all the necessary equipment in the right way.
What can you expect?
Our program is comprehensive and covers all aspects of trail running. Through practical training and theoretical video lectures, you will acquire skills that will change your perspective on running.
- Proper running technique Learn how to adapt your stride, balance and body position to uneven terrain, from rocky trails to muddy forest roads. We put an emphasis on efficient climbs and safe and fast downhill movement.
- Equipment and Nutrition: We give you practical advice on choosing trail running shoes, clothing and backpacks. You will also learn the basics of nutrition and hydration for longer trail adventures.
- Navigation and orientation: Using GPS will become a part of your routine. We will teach you to be efficient in relatively unfamiliar terrain, even if you want to explore nearby trails you have never been on.
- Strength and mobility exercises: Through specialized exercises, you will strengthen those muscles that are crucial for stability and reduce the risk of injury.
- Safety in nature: We teach you how to recognize dangers, what to carry in your first aid kit and how to behave in emergency situations.
